I am a Jersey Girl living in the Pacific Northwest. I am occasionally on the road with Thomas Dolby as a Tour Manager/Fan Liason and/or Merch Chic, and web designer. I am still very independent, I love being married but miss aspects of living alone. I have achieved my dream of making my glass my primary work focus. Water is better than soda. Simon is the "best" Duran. Red wine wins over white (though I'll take a bottle of Sofia any day). Vanilla over chocolate.
I am striving to buck the modern system that says I need to buy things to be happy, and watch tv to escape. I refuse to measure happiness by how much of the GNP I contribute to, the square footage of my home, or define myself by having as much or more than the Joneses.
I'm learning to breathe. I have made a deal with the universe, turning in consumer greed in exchange for life hours, and now do what I love for a living. |
